Cost: $100 per team - All money raised will go to the charity that's been set up for under-priveldged kids

Dodgeball Tournament Supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation

Get a dodgeball team together and help the Heart and Stroke Foundation! This tournament will support a great casue and be a ton of fun. Here's some details:

World Computer Exchange Turf Soccer Tournament

World Computer Exchange (WCE) is a global education & environment nonprofit that helps connect youth in 65 developing countries to the skills, opportunities & understanding of the Internet while keeping working computers out of landfills. To date, WCE has shipped over 27,000 computers and has connected over 1,000,000 youth to the Internet.

Tournament

The tournament will be held October 4,2008 between 9 and 5 pm at the Super dome and will have 3 divisions (Men’s, Womans and Coed). The games will be played indoor on turf, will be 45 minutes each with a referee, and 7 vs 7 including a goalie. Each team will play 3 games and the cost will be approximately $350( $50 deposit due by August 9,2008 and the $300 due September 7,2008).

Camp Quality is a summer camp for children with cancer -- and more. The camp provides an opportunity for the children, and their year-round Companions to celebrate life together for one fun-filled week in August (9th to 15th).

Canadian Blood Service host mobile clinic in various parts of the city. However, most convenient is our Blood Donor Clinic located on 1575 Carling Avenue in Ottawa. Hours of operation for this location are as follows:

 

Monday: 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
